Paris J'taime

There is a painting in my hallway which everytime I look at it transports me into a flurry of French adoration. In it, a bicycle sits waiting outside a pattiserie, with a basket full of sweetpeas and roses... what a beautiful thought! And so, it is in a haze of Parisian Passion that I present you with a très magnifique carte d'inspiration (inspiration board). Show your style with champagne, canapes, chandeleirs, chignons and chiffon. Think soft pastels, pink and ivory roses, feminine lace, cap sleeves and oh-so-chic stationery and stamps. J'adore!

So pout those pretty pastel pink lips, batt those liquid-lined lashes and say "ooh-la-la"! For chic & unique, the French do it best. Keep it simple, but add lush and lavish touches for a hint of opulence.

    Loooooooove the Eiffle Tower name holders!
    The Paris stamp set is so cute as well - I actually bought a really similar one from Kikki K :)

    I really love this theme - but I've got my heart set on black and white. Do you think this Paris theme would still work with a monochrome palette? Help - I've already bought the bridesmaid dresses!

    L.M. You could definitely do a chic French-style black and white theme! It doesn't have to be antique inspired like this one. If you think about it - the Eiffel Tower is made from strong lines and structure. You could mirror this in your black and white theme.

    Plus, Parisienne's are well-known for their love of black and white - so chic. Polka dots, cute black and white Paris inspired stationery. The possibilities are endless. It's going to be a beautiful wedding L.M. Mine is gonna be a pastel, but I think French chic works really well with black and white.
