Our research tells us that some brides still go with the classic veil simply because it's the first thing that many designers and boutique owners offer. Here's a sample quote from an older article, we're looking for something like this, but tell us your story, especially if you've experienced something like this:
“I was completely focused on finding my gown, I hadn’t even thought about a veil or a hat. But once the veil was in, it definitely completed the look and made it look more ‘bridal’,” says Sarah. “When I sat down and thought about it though, I flipped through my invitations and reviewed my vintage theme, I realised that the look I was going for – more 40s glamour – would be much better reflected with a chic veiled hat or a fascinator.”
Tell us your bridal head piece story by commenting below and your comment could end up in the next edition!

When I was searching for my dress, I knew what I wanted but I didn’t know what kind of lace I was going for. Anyway I ended up finding my hairpiece before the DRESS! I fell in love with it but I hesitated. In the end I didn’t care and I bought it, I am from Sydney & I found it from Melbourne Bejewelled by Tracey. It’s called Emma bridal hair piece it’s the most stunning bridal hair piece I have ever seen and it went beautifully well with my vintage look, handmade by Swarovski crystal, crystal setting, pearl and diamante.. One of my photos from XSiGHT is on your blog February Vintage Black & White.
